How I Proposed To My Bridesmaids

I had seen so many cute bridesmaid proposal ideas on Pinterest that I knew even before I got engaged that I wanted to put together some pretty boxes for my girls.

At the time that I put these boxes together, I was thinking our wedding colors would be blue and white, so I wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to do something feminine and pink. Here’s what I included in each box:
- 1 gold-rimmed pink stemless champagne flute
- 1 mini bottle of La Vostra sparkling rose
- 1 Sugarfina Champagne Bubbles candies
- 1 Scentsational natural candle
The champagne flutes were Martha Stuart from Macy’s. I’ve noticed that she usually comes out with a beautiful collection of pink home pieces around Valentine’s Day, so keep your eyes open if that’s something you’re interested in!
I got the bottles of rose and the Sugarfina candies from Total Wine. And the candles were all from Homegoods.

I packaged the items in untreated wooden crates from Hobby Lobby (the small size), lined them with white tissue paper, and filled them with a bunch of white crinkled paper (also from Hobby Lobby). I wanted everything to either be reusable or recyclable/compostable, so I wouldn’t be contributing a bunch of plastic to the environment. I topped each one with a cute card from target.
Each of my four girls loved their boxes! I presented them at happy hours and a coffee date. I loved that the elements of the box were feminine, celebratory, and items everyone would actually use (including the packaging!).
