5 Cruelty-Free Hair Products I’m Loving

For a while I was struggling to find some staple hair care products that I can turn to time and time again. After asking my hair stylist, friends, and searching the internet for positive reviews, I can finally say that I LOVE the products I am sharing in this post!

So without further ado, here they are!

  1. KEVIN.MURPHY REPAIR-ME.WASH

This proteinizing shampoo has bamboo leaf extract and green pea protein plus three other key ingredients to restore, nourish, and replenish the hair. Plus it smells amazing! I could feel the difference the first time I used this shampoo before I even rinsed it out. I would never have spent so much on a shampoo, but this is so worth it. You don’t need to use more than a small quarter-sized dollop to lather up.

  1. KEVIN MURPHY HYDRATE-ME.RINSE

This moisturizing conditioner also smells so so good! It has kakadu plum that is high in Vitamin C and shea butter for deep moisture. Unlike most conditioners I’ve tried, this rinse almost becomes “mousse-like” after being combed through; my hair feels thicker instead of weighed down by the product. I usually have to use about three times as much conditioner as I do shampoo since my hair is pretty long, but I can still only use a quarter-sized amount of this rinse!

  1. KEVIN MURPHY LEAVE-IN.REPAIR

Okay, you can probably tell I’m hooked on Kevin Murphy products by now haha. But seriously, their stuff is so good! This is the first of their products I bought, and I obviously loved it enough to try more. This leave-in conditioner double tasks as a heat protectant, plus (can you guess it?) it smells amazing!!! It helps to reduce breakage while moisturizing with jojoba seed oil and keratin, plus four other key ingredients. I put this in the length of my hair while its wet after a shower before combing and parting, and sometimes later throughout the day to extra dry pieces.

  1. Brazilian Blowout Acai Deep Conditioning Masque

This deep reconstructor is a game changer. It has both proteinizing and moisturizing components, which is why I LOVE it. It also smells incredible. I usually put deep conditioners on my hair when its dry so the nutrients in the conditioner can really be adsorbed, but this one works best (and goes farther) on wet hair. I leave this in for at least 20 minutes. The link above is for the Brazilian Blowout website where you can read more about the product and order it, but I also want to share the Amazon link to the same mask for almost 50% off the original price (whaaaat?! Amazon killin’ it again!).

  1. Kenra Volume Spray 25

I don’t use hairspray a ton, but when I do, I don’t want a crunchy mess that looks greasy or wet. This hairspray by Kenra in 25 is perfect for volume hold. I curl or style my hair, arranging each piece the way I want it, and then mist this hairspray on for all day/night hold. I got hooked on it the second I borrowed it from a friend while in Vegas! And that should tell you how long it holds 😉 haha

All these products are cruelty free, of course, and their packaging (except for the caps 🙁 ) are recyclable. All Kevin Murphy products can be found on their website, and some salons even carry them (mine does).

Questions? Try and love a product? Be sure to let me know!

XOXO
